INDIA – The tribal chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is seeking collaboration from Australia for its fisheries, cultivation, agriculture and food process sectors.
Andhra Pradesh first-rate in salt and H2O shrimp production, is second in H2O fish production and fourth in marine fish production within the country, reports TheHindu.
With the Chief Minister drawing up plans to create province a marine process hub, the state aims to achieve forty per cent of India’s total production of high valued fish and shellfish from this level of twenty per cent.
Mr Naidu also will highlight prospects of operating along on establishing fishing harbours, cold chain infrastructure, pre-processing facilities and added production facilities.
In the agriculture and food process sector, the minister same he can explore opportunities on agri export zones, agri instrumentality, mega food parks, cold chain infrastructure, industrial husbandry and dairy farm process units.
